Bard's Quill — Auto, Skip, Backlog & Text Speed for RPG Maker MZ

The three message features your players expect. One plugin, no dependencies. Bard's Quill works with the default message window and whatever windowskin you already use. It never restyles your text box.

Features

• Auto-advance: tap A while a message is open; a small parchment badge shows AUTO
• Skip: hold Ctrl to fast-forward text and pages; always stops at choices
• Backlog: press L on the map or open it from the main menu; speaker names and faces included; saved with the game
• Options entries: Text Speed (Slow → Instant) and Auto Pace (Leisurely → Hasty)
• Plugin commands: Open Message Log, Clear Message Log, Set Auto Mode

Every key is configurable. The log size is a parameter (default 100 messages).

Quick start Copy RMP_BardsQuill.js into js/plugins/ and enable it. If you use a plugin that replaces the message window wholesale, place Bard's Quill below it.
